Learning for Leadership is a development programme for people with learning disabilities. Participants are encouraged to fine-tune their leadership skills in a practical and active learning environment.
A four year project with Mencap, Prison Reform Trust, I CAN, FPLD and De Montfort University to identify prevention strategies which deter young people with learning disabilities/communication problems from committing crimes.
People with learning disabilities and families from BME communities experience inequalities in health and social care. We have worked with local groups to overcome these barriers for families.
We are is working in partnership with Lemos and Crane on a project addressing disability hate crime.
We are working to address the rights of offenders with learning disabililties.
