Policy

Image of the Houses of Parliament

We aim to influence, improve or change policy and law that affect the lives of people with learning disabilities and their families.

We also aim to influence, improve or change policy and law that affect services that provide support, care and treatment.

We do this by presenting the policy implications from our research and development projects and our consultancy to national and local government and other important organisations. This includes:

  • Having direct discussions with national and local government
  • Public affairs work
  • Campaigning work to influence and inform the media and general public
