Valuing health for all

12 project sites across England explored the strategic and practitioner links needed to address health inequalities and improve access to health services.

Following the project we produced an Action Guide. This guide shows how the knowledge and expertise of people with learning disabilities themselves and of specialist learning disability staff can help Primary Care Trusts to deliver and commission better services.

Count Us In

This was inquiry that looked at the mental health of young people with learning disabilities. It confirmed that mental health services for these young people are fragmented and that it can be extremely difficult for some young people to access help before their problems deteriorate.

As a result of this inquiry, we produced a report and two booklets which provide information about the mental health and emotional wellbeing of young people with learning disabilities.
