Too often young people with learning disabilities have everyone else making decisions for them. We developed these leadership workshops because we want to encourage young people to take control of their lives.
The Inclusion Assistant project was developed to help pupils with learning disabilities in mainstream schools feel more included through the role of the non-teaching assistant.
This project aims to try out different ways of supporting young people as they move into adulthood, such as getting a job, keeping in touch with friends, socialising and having meaningful roles in their communities.
This programme supports the development of self-employment and small business opportunities for people with learning disabilities. This can offer greater flexibility and control over one's working life.
This project worked with young people with learning disabilities/difficulties to address their emotional wellbeing in mainstream schools and colleges.
