The Foundation has worked with various services and organisations to be creative, innovative and resourceful about the way to be more inclusive and provide better support to people with learning disabilities.
We are working in partnership with Kings College, London to try and understand how these services can be tailored to better meet the needs of people with learning disabilities so that they can access them like everybody else.
We have extensive experience of supporting organisations who provide services to people with learning disabilities. We can offer tailor made support to help service providers make sure their services are person centred, innovative and meet the users needs.
This project will support families with a technology-dependent child to be supported to develop a personalised, holistic package of support which will improve their quality of life.
Quality Futures is a local authority project to improve opportunities and quality of life of people living in residential and supported living services, particularly focussed on people who have limited involvement from family, friends and advocates.
FPLD have 10 years of experience in helping organisations to develop and improve day opportunities. We have worked with over 30 organisations to improve prospects and a recent programme commissioned by SCIE resulted in the publications: Having a Good Day?.
