Older people with learning disabilities

Older People

The number of adults with learning disabilities aged over 60 is predicted to rise.

Older people with learning disabilities live with their families, in residential homes or in their own homes.

They need the same kind of support as younger people, but they often receive less help.

Older people with Down’s syndrome are more likely to develop dementia.
