We believe it is important to include in our work the views of people with learning disabilities, their families and the people who support them.

We run a number of online forums which allow people to exchange views and information on issues in the lives of people with learning disabilities.

Forums are free mailing lists which allow you to send messages to other members of the same forum. They are places where you can ask questions, share information, find answers and share ideas with others with similar experiences and interests.

The Choice Forum is the biggest, liveliest online discussion forum on issues in the lives of people with learning disabilities in the UK. It brings together people working with people with learning disabilities, national and local policy makers, service providers and purchasers, parents, carers and people with learning disabilities. It is a forum where you can ask questions, find answers, and share ideas with others with similar interests.

The UK Health and Learning Disability Network is a network open to anyone with an interest in health and learning disability issues. Members come from all walks of life and backgrounds from families, self advocates and agencies working with people with a learning disability to nurses, GPs, psychologists, therapists.

The network aims to assist health practitioners in both mainstream and specialist services with the health and learning disability agenda and, as such, concentrates on problem solving, information sharing and networking.
