Our forums are a great way of connecting people to all the latest news, information and ideas around supporting people with learning disabilities. The topics discussed are totally led by the interests of the members.
They bring together over 6,000 people with an interest in people with learning disabilities. The members are a mixture of people working in the field, parents or carers and people with learning disabilities. They are places where you can ask questions, share information, find answers and share ideas with others with similar experiences and interests.
The Choice Forum
The Choice Forum is the biggest, liveliest online discussion forum on issues in the lives of people with learning disabilities in the UK.
It brings together people working with people with learning disabilities, national and local policy makers, service providers and purchasers, parents, carers and people with learning disabilities.

The UK Health and Learning Disability Network
The UK Health and Learning Disability Network gives members access to a national community of people interested in health and people with learning disabilities, including nurses, doctors, therapists, commissioners and even professors! A recent survey found that three-quarters of the 1000s of members of the Network, have worked in the learning disability field for 10 or more years.
The network aims to assist health practitioners in both mainstream and specialist services with the health and learning disability agenda and concentrates on problem solving, information sharing and networking.

The value of the Network has been recognised in the support it has received from all 10 strategic Health Authorities across England and the other UK nations which means that its future is now secured until 2011.
Thanks to this funding the Network remains a free resource for anyone interested in health issues and people with a learning disability.

The PMLD Network discusses the support of people with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Recent discussions include:
