One way of helping us is to organise a fundraising event within your school, college, university, community group or with friends.

 

Whether you are fundraising as a student, individual, or as a group of friends there are lots of ways in which you can support us!

What can you do? 

 

Hold a collection

 

If you're planning to hold a collection for us, you need to ensure that you have the right permissions:

 

  • If you plan to hold your collection on private property, such as a pub or shopping centre, you must get the owner's permission first.

  • If you're holding a street collection, you'll need to apply for a permit from your local council. We can help you with his process, get in touch on 0207 803 1125.

  • Once you have obtained a permit, you will need to let us know the details of those taking part, what time and where.
     

Take part in one of our large range of challenge events
 

  • Why not take part in a 10,000 free fall parachute jump, Cycle Cuba or register for one of our guaranteed places in the London or New York Marathon.

Schools fundraising

 

Many students and teachers raise money for charity in their school. Fundraising is a good way for young people to help support other young people in distress. It can also be an excellent way to build up skills and knowledge.

 

If you would like to help us by fundraising for us in your school, or your child's school, then please get in touch call 0207 803 1125 or email Jayne. If you are a pupil then please ask a staff member to do this for you.

 

Schools fundraising ideas

 

Why not choose us as your charity of the year or term and organise a calendar of fundraising activities. Here are some examples:

 

  • non uniform day

  • end of term play, music concert of talent show

  • summer  / Christmas fair

  • get involved with an existing school event and perhaps have a cake sale on the same day.

 

Sponsored events 

 

  • Sponsored silence

  • Spellathon

  • Pyjama party

  • Bring a toy to school

  • Or even ask you teacher to shave off his beard for sponsorship! 
     

Competition 
 

  • Why not host a 5 aside football tournament, or host a balloon race
