About the Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities

The Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities works to promote the rights, quality of life and opportunities of people with learning disabilities and their families.

We do this by working with people with learning disabilities, their families and the people who support them.

We carry out research, promote the rights of people with learning disabilities, improve services and spread knowledge and information.

The Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities is part of the Mental Health Foundation, a national charity, and operates as a directorate within the charity.

We are also a member of the Learning Disability Coalition with 9 other leading disability charities.

We rely on donations to help us keep doing our work. Find out more about how you can get involved in our work
